Engidro - Engineering Studies Ltd., is a Portuguese engineering consultancy, founded in Lisbon in 1979 and focuses its activities on the provision of engineering and architecture services with a focus on the environment, particularly through the development of studies and projects on treatment and water supply, collection and treatment of waste water, collection and treatment of solid waste, but also on a wide range of construction work related to the environment and quality of living.

Over the past 30 years Engidro has constantly been concerned to renew its technical staff, while maintaining the value of having first generation partners in its administration, coordination and technical staff, which confers a high level of technical prowess, recognized by all partners and customers.

From this constant concern to rejuvenate the business structure, has emerged the Engidro Group. Today it comprises a group of companies formed from the initial consultancy firm, to cope with the demands of the market and ensure greater consistency in various aspects of the operational management involved in the business of consulting and project

Backed by its consortium (Engidro, Ambitec, Engiform and Imofe), the Engidro Group expanded its areas of activity and provides to the market, beyond the traditional activities of studies and projects in the areas of hydraulic engineering and health, other activities such as surveying, cadastral and topographical features, energy certification, acoustics testing, control of losses and leakage of water and all specialties of engineering buildings

The services cover all stages involved in the production of the planning studies and execution of works, from the early studies and consultancy work to the Owner, through the development of studies, projects and management of all areas and specialties related to environment and construction.

In 2008, Engidro, given the evolution of national and international markets, has expanded its area of influence to ANGOLA, becoming part of the company CENGA - Consultores de Engenharia de Angola, SA. This is an Angolan company that results from joint efforts and skills of five engineering firms in complementary fields. This initiative aims to enhance a specialized response in construction and public works in Angola, thus participating in the process of creating infrastructure facilities for the economic and social development of Angola.

Engidro currently has about 50 employees distributed by the Group companies, including middle and senior technicians and staff support services. The permanent technical team covers most of the specialties of various areas of engineering and architecture. From this large team stands out the sector of studies and hydraulic works, proved one of the most experienced and competent in the country.

This team of experts has a permanent presence of faculty from leading institutions of engineering education in the country and also counts on the collaboration of several experienced and highly skilled external consultants.
